The Spokesman-Review's Northwest Passages Book Club welcomes Spokane author Chris Crutcher.
Crutcher discusses writing fiction for young adults and his decades as a community therapist in a conversation with columnist Shawn Vestal.
In the past year, he has met with students who survived school shootings, first at Freeman High School and then at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High in Florida. Crutcher's latest book is “Losers Bracket.”
When: Wednesday, Jan. 16, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: The Spokesman-Review Building, 999 West Riverside Ave. in Spokane.
Tickets: General admission tickets cost $5. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 6 p.m.
