At least in Hollywood, newspapers have never been bigger. With the upcoming release of “The Post,” starring Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks, Spokesman-Review Editor Rob Curley shares his favorite movies focused on newspaper journalism. From the wonderfully goofy to the powerfully impactful, this fun movie night will be filled with decades-spanning clips and features a complete showing of the 1952 classic film, “Deadline, USA,” starring Humphrey Bogart.
After the movie, for those really feeling the love for the daily miracle, Rob will lead a rare, behind-the-scenes tour of The Spokesman-Review’s press operation.
When: Wednesday, Dec. 20, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
