Northwest Passages Book Club: "American Wolf" author Nate Blakeslee
999 West Riverside Ave, Spokane, WA
The Spokesman-Review's Northwest Passages Book Club welcomes author Nate Blakeslee to Spokane on Dec. 6.
Blakeslee is the author of the critically acclaimed new book, "American Wolf: A True Story of Survival and Obsession in the West." The book explores the controversial reintroduction of wolves in Yellowstone National Park and has been optioned for a film by Leonardo DiCaprio.
"Blakeslee takes readers into the snowy [Lamar Valley], and deep into a genuinely human tale told with the energy and verve of a bestselling thriller," says the Texas Observer. "A tight, dense narrative, American Wolf, races along like a predator on the hunt.”
